New laser machine operates at Eschmann Textures

A state-of-the-art laser is now operating at the Glossop-site (UK) of Eschmann Textures (www.eschmanntextures.com). The new 5-axis laser machine is customized for engraving moulds of almost any size and shape for the automotive industry and other applications that require precision engraving. This new technology allows direct engraving of textures in steel, aluminum and alloys. Compared to the etching process, the laser provides higher reliability and repeatability, particularly when it comes to engraving complex surface geometry. Previously unachievable textures due to the historical printing processes can now be realized by high-end laser technology. Eschmann Textures is convinced that this investment is not only a technological milestone for the company but also for the benefit of its customers.
